I am reading Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier.

I haven't made up my mind about the whole book yet. Maybe because I am still reading it. Har Har.

But it's lost me sleep some already, especially last night, when the author finally got around to Ada and Inman's relationship.

The way he went about going there, however, is commendable. He knows how to engage you with his rich imagery. One phrase stuck while I was thinking about the book yesterday - "a cinematographer's wet dream."
