rant, rant, rant. wala namang sinasabi. i e-mailed two, no three, friends today. at 5am. a sign of a disturbed (sinwa definition ha) mind.

i do acknowledge that i am the complainer type. i used to say this was okay because after blathering, i go about my thing without further ado. as if nothing happened.

lately though im not so sure this tack is working its usual wonders.

sometimes i catch myself thinking how i could hit it off with some people so much beyond me. looking back, i cant think what exactly did we talk about. like this professor friend of mine for instance, who is so intelligent and witty you'd think she had better people to hang with. (well. she does have more beautiful people to hang with. hehe. but you know what i mean.)

we ate at cafe breton for dessert. i cooked my special pasta for gari :) regalo ko sa kanya hehe. the next day i had to go back to work after a ten-day leave. but no matter. it still felt my birthday the next day.

the rule of four (caldwell/thomason) was compared to umberto eco, f. scott fitzgerald, and dan brown.
scott fitzgerald i do not know. but this book was definitely better than brown's puzzle creations. it had a touch of eco, but it was not as obscure. i still struggled some. but the likenesses to a separate piece, the sidestory about friendship, was what kept me reading.
interesting, this. but very short reading. found the ending abrupt, parang minadali.
